Britney, Paris Hilton and Mel Gibson have apparently been named the Worst Celebrity Role Models in a poll by AOL and AP. Most news articles are suggesting it is down to the whole Kevin relationship and divorce issues.

   Britney what is happening with you?? I know you are going through a hard time but do you remember how badly you wantd children. When everyone see the photos of you in the paper and on the new it is apparent that you are using some sort of drug legal or illegal to help you deal with your pain. If you love your children like you say you do then you will drop the drugs and put all of your time and effort into them. If you need a reason and you don’t think you are a good enough one (even though you are) your children should be the best reason to stop this madness. They deserve to have a sober and loving mother in their lives. You are a very talented person who has worked hard all of your life. A break is okay and your children are worth it. Don’t miss another minute. Love Jesus

   The fact that we equate them with role models at all should be a cause for concern.
   The whole role model thing, I just found out, originally a religious thing. It’s from bhakti yoga, where you put all your energy and focus into a deity in order to be more like them. If our devotion has now shifted to “role models” like Britney, we’re in for trouble. And so are the “role models.”
